This targeted, practical training on instructional scaffolding will give you tangible tools, approaches and clarity that will impact student achievement.
By the end of this mini series, participants will be able to:
✅ Clarity on Scaffolding: Define what scaffolding is and how it supports independent and confident learners.
✅ Practical Planning Tools: Learn and use tools for each of the 3 "Knows" of scaffolding to create a proactive system for scaffolding.
✅ Foster Student Confidence: Apply your knowledge so that every day students see what they CAN do and how that can help them unlock what they need to learn next.
✅Master the Fade: Acquire the crucial skill of knowing when and how to gradually remove supports, ensuring students build self-efficacy and achieve true mastery.

Prior to coming to MRUSD she was the Curriculum Director in GISU, has worked as a School Effectiveness Coordinator for the Agency of Education and was an inaugural Ferguson Fellow focusing on effective implementation of MTSS in charter, public, urban and rural settings.
