Before the fireside chat, prime your learning with the foundational research that has revolutionized adolescent education. Our pre-event book club is the ultimate way to maximize the impact of Dr. David Yeager's insights for you and your fellow educators.

This guided experience gives you the vocabulary, context, and collaborative space to truly internalize and apply the "Mentor Mindset"—the revolutionary approach Dr. Yeager outlines for motivating and connecting with today’s students.

• Build Momentum: Create a shared language and foundational understanding of the latest research before the main event.
• Collaborative Insight: Engage in moderated, facilitated discussions with peers to explore how to apply concepts like the "Mentor Mindset" and "Stress-is-Enhancing Mindset" directly in your classrooms.
• Deeper Understanding: Move beyond the surface level. We'll unpack the evidence-based strategies from the book, including:
  • Shifting from an Enforcer or Protector mindset to the high-support, high-standard Mentor Mindset.
  • Teaching students that their brains can grow and that challenge is a chance for development.
  • Using effective communication (like questioning, not directing) to build trust and increase student engagement.
